The YAIBA series, already praised by artists worldwide including Kenny Washington and Tutty Moreno as having a "high-end sound," now includes a snare drum. By reviewing the shell c onstruction, parts, and manufacturing process, and by adopting a forced-curing lacquer (UV), also used in high-end models by other companies, as the exclusive finish for the YAIBA II, instead of the time-consuming and costly nitrocellulose lacquer, the YAIBA series achieves significant reductions in manufacturing time and cost. Made in Japan, yet offering astonishing cost performance, the YAIBA series can be described as a "drum that doesn't live up to its price." While possessing the rich overtones characteristic of maple, the inclusion of massy Yaiba die-cast lugs ensures a solid, focused sound image.
