The ultimate all-rounder!! The OM (Orchestra) model is designed with the player in mind and is suitable for a wide range of styles! The OM (Orchestra) was born in 1929 and is one o f the oldest models in the Martin brand. It features a compact, easy-to-hold body in 000 size and a long 645mm scale, the same as a dreadnought. Its appeal lies in its crisp sound that stands up to strong picking and its easy-to-play size. It truly combines the best of both worlds, making it a versatile all-rounder that can be used for a wide range of styles, from flat picks to fingerstyle, and is loved by many players. The rosewood back and sides provide deep bass and brilliant highs, while the 28 Style's straightforward, honest sound will take on a richer, more expressive character the more you play. -Evolution of the 2025 model- In 2025, the 000-28 has evolved even further. By incorporating the same structure as the vintage OM-28, it achieves richer resonance and sustain. While inheriting the traditional sound of the storied OM-28, it has been reborn as a more refined guitar that meets the needs of modern players and the music scene. The most significant improvements are the changes to the bracing, which is key to the tone of an acoustic guitar, and the neck shape, which directly affects playability. The bracing style has been changed to the Golden Gill Shape GE-Scalloped X, which is used in the popular Modern Deluxe series, resulting in a fuller, more breathy tone and longer sustain. The neck shape has been changed to the GE Modified Low Oval, which adds a vintage feel while minimizing the increase in mass. Furthermore, the fingerboard features a thin, smoothly chamfered Comfort Edge, and the string spacing at the nut has been improved for even better playability. The key point is that, unlike the Authentic Series, which pursued vintage specifications, these guitars have been improved to meet modern, easy-to-use standards. Rather than simply returning to vintage, they pursued "easy-to-use, good sound" for the modern music scene, resulting in significant advances in both sound and playability. The new OM-28 Standard, which pursues both tradition and innovation, will be your partner in maximizing the joy of playing music.Model: OM-28(2025) Top Material: Spruce Back and Side Material: East Indian Rosewood Brace Material: Spruce Bracing: X Brace Brace Shape: GE-Scalloped Neck Material: Select Hardwood Fingerboard and Bridge Material: Ebony Nut Material: Bone Neck Shape: GE Modified Low Oval Neck Taper: High Performance Taper Scale Length: 25.4 (645 mm) Fingerboard Width at Nut: 1 3/4(44.45mm) Bridge Style: GE Modern Belly- Drop in Saddle Rosette: Style 28 Multi-Stripe Binding: Antique White Top Inlay Material: Bold Herringbone Headplate Material: East Indian Rosewood Headstock Shape: Solid with Square Taper and Diamond Fingerboard Inlay Style: Diamond and Square Long Top Finish Top: Gloss Top Color: Aging Toner Back and Side Finish: Gloss Back and Sides Color: Natural Neck Color: Dark Mahogany Pickguard: Faux Tortoise Tuning Machines: Nickel Open Gear Electronics: None Case: Molded Hardshell Show more
