◆Includes IKEBE REUSE certified used instrument warranty (valid for 12 months from the date of purchase)◆ A used 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue VOS has arrived! Established in 1993, the Gibson Custom Shop was created to produce the ultimate electric guitars and basses through long-cultivated high-level manufacturing techniques, an insatiable spirit of inquiry, and carefully selected materials. Even today, the Custom Shop lineup, crafted using traditional handcrafting methods and thoroughly researched vintage knowledge, boasts a superb level of craftsmanship that is unmatched by others, becoming the ultimate instrument that endlessly ignites the inspiration within the player. This particular model is the popular "Lemon Burst" color. Weighing approximately 3.84kg, this guitar boasts an ideal weight for a Les Paul, allowing you to enjoy its natural resonance that responds to your picking, along with the sweet, full-bodied sound characteristic of a Les Paul. The 1959 Les Paul's unique wood grain and color, which change depending on the angle and how the light hits it, recreates the distinctive look and playability of the old Gibson guitars from their Golden Era. While aging treatments by Murphy Lab are now standard on 1959 models, this model features a VOS finish, a semi-gloss finish with no weather checking. The metal parts are designed to simulate rust and tarnish, making this a must-have for those who don't like weather checking or aging treatments. The neck shape is the "Authentic '59 Medium C-Shape," which is neither too thick nor too thin, making it suitable for modern playing styles. The pickups continue to be the Custombucker Alnico III, which has become a standard in recent models. You will be able to experience an exquisite sound that can only be found in this instrument, with its crisp bite and rich tonal balance that only this particular instrument can provide. It features newly installed bumblebee-type paper-oil capacitors and 500k CTS potentiometers that pursue a vintage curve. Compared to standard 500kΩ potentiometers, the high frequencies are not drastically cut even when the volume is turned down, allowing you to freely control everything from clean to overdrive sounds with just your hands. Distortion is maintained from the 10 to 6 mark, and then smoothly decreases from 6 to 1, allowing for expressive playing depending on the length of the volume control. This particular guitar is in player's condition, with some minor scratches and dents on the body, as well as some tarnish and rust on the hardware due to aging. The frets have about 70% of their height remaining, and there are no issues with the neck condition, truss rod, or electronics, so it can be enjoyed for many years to come. The coveted Burst!
