The incredibly popular D-16RGT, a model that delivers both low cost and authentic sound, is now available used! The 16 series generally features a solid spruce top, solid sides and back, a hybrid scalloped X-bracing construction, and a gloss finish. The D-16RGT, however, boasts a sophisticated combination of a rosewood body and a herringbone rosette. The "GT" in the model name stands for "gloss top," indicating the luxurious gloss finish applied to the body top. Regarding the condition of this particular instrument, upon arrival, the nut was replaced, the bracing (one below the soundhole, one at the back of the body) was glued back on, the string height was adjusted, and the pickguard, which was misaligned, was removed and reattached. Other than that, there are some minor scratches and wear from playing, as well as some tarnishing and rust on the parts, indicating age-related deterioration, but there is no significant damage. Of course, there are no issues with playability, and the frets have plenty of life left, so you can welcome this instrument into your collection with plenty of use.
