The Sadowsky Onboard Bass Preamp is a fully pre-wired system that provides the same controls and legendary active preamp sound as all Sadowsky basses. This preamp is designed to be mounted on most J-style basses that have a metal control plate. The controls are Volume - Pan (Balance) - VTC (Vintage Tone Control) - Treble/Bass. The treble and bass controls are for boosting only, and are flat when turned all the way counterclockwise. The VTC control is passive and provides a flat EQ at its maximum setting. The lower the control, the more the high end of the signal is attenuated. It can be mounted using the included control plate, or via a 4-in-line or diamond pattern from the rear control cavity. *This system is not compatible with active pickups that require a volume or balance pot other than a 250K or 500K pot.- Pre-wired onboard bass preamp for J-style basses with metal control plate - Active preamp for passive pickups - 4-knob layout: Master Volume/Balance/Vintage Tone Control (P/P)/Treble & Bass (Stacked) - Push-pull function of the VTC knob allows preamp bypass - Can be mounted via the included control plate or rear control cavity - Frequency response: 5Hz to 50kHz • Bass…40Hz +18dB (Boost only) • Treble…4 kHz +18 dB (boost only) • Total harmonic distortion (THD) 0.18% (at 1 kHz)・Power source: 1 9V battery ・Current consumption 9 mA • Battery life: up to approximately 870 hours • Input impedance: 1 Mohm Output impedance: 1 kΩ Note: This warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by negligence, improper installation, or the use of inappropriate accessories or tools.
