Selmer Paris's new Signature alto saxophone is truly remarkable, a fitting tribute to the great tradition of French sound! It offers a lot of new sensations in terms of playing comfort, especially in its intonation and tone. Thanks to it, I can freely express my creativity. --Jerome Laran // SELMER Alto Sax Signature Dark Signature Lacquer // ■■Renewing Tradition■■ The name "Signature" embodies the identity that Selmer Paris has built throughout its history as a developer and manufacturer of musical instruments. The "Signature" alto saxophone is an improved version of the "Super Action 80 Series II," which has graced the history of saxophones in various ways since its release in 1986. While retaining the sound of the "Series II," it has been improved, particularly in terms of intonation in the high register and ease of breath control in the low register. Based on ergonomics and designed to meet the needs of all musicians, the "Signature" model, inspired by the "Series II" and "Series III," incorporates the latest innovative technologies updated specifically for the "Supreme" series—including a new three-point neck receiver system for improved tonal uniformity, a nickel-silver tightening ring for increased density, and support for smoother octave key operation. Paying homage to the craftsmanship passed down through generations at the Mantre-la-Ville factory since 1919, the "Signature," adorned with original Art Deco-style carvings, is both a traditional saxophone and a guiding light for the modern saxophone. Mantre-la-Ville… This special place exudes power and magic. It's a place of ubiquitous and fundamental craftsmanship, where living human hands truly create the sound. ■Sound: The "Signature" sound is the result of perfect balance. - Generous and rounded sound - Excellent response, responding to the player's intentions - Extremely rich tone, suitable for any situation - Sound with good projection ■The elegant "Signature" design is characterized by its unique lacquer hues and engravings, inheriting the tradition of Selmer Paris, founded in 1885. The engraved designs incorporate essential manufacturing tools, boiler flames, drawings, and patterns, perfectly harmonizing with the Art Deco style of 1922, when the first Selmer saxophone was created. This beautiful design pays tribute to the hands of the craftsmen who breathe life into these magnificent instruments.■Specifications: Body Material: Brass; Finish: Dark Signature Lacquer; Key: Eb Included key: High-F# Thumb rest: Metal Thumb hook: Metal Pad: Metal booster Engraving: Yes (special engraving) ■Accessories: Metal end plug, neck strap, cork grease, silk case/microfiber cloth, body swab, neck swab, dedicated case made by BAM, instruction manual/user card/warranty/selection certificate, Wind Bros. original cloth *Other accessories are sold separately.
