Carefully selected consigned items (sales on your behalf) Debuting in 1950 as the Broadcaster, the Telecaster has since reigned alongside the Stratocaster as one of Fender's flagsh ip guitar models. Along with the Esquire, a single-pickup version released at the same time, it continues to be loved by many guitarists and artists around the world. This time we have a Telecaster in stock, shipped in 1982, with a later-model headstock serial number. 【body】 The total weight is approximately 3.95 kg. The body is made of ash. The moderately amber-toned natural color beautifully highlights the grain of the ash wood. It features the later head serial number specifications with conductive paint applied to each cavity. The pickguard has been replaced with a white one. Overall, there are signs of use such as scratches, paint peeling from sanding on the back of the body, belt buckle marks, and tarnishing and plating peeling on the metal parts, giving it the feel of a vintage instrument. The bridge saddle has been replaced with a slant type to improve the octave pitch. 【neck】 The neck and fingerboard are made of one-piece maple. The fingerboard and back of the neck were repainted during a refret. The clear coat on the headstock and back of the neck has a nice amber color, giving it a good look, similar to the body. There are some peg bushing marks and small areas of paint deterioration on the headstock, and some minor scratches on the back of the neck, but it is in relatively good condition. The tuners were once replaced with M6 style tuners, but have now been returned to the original Schaller F-key tuners. Currently, the knobs for the 1st, 2nd, and 5th strings are slightly bent, but they function properly. The frets and nut have been replaced, and the playability is good. Headstock thickness: 14.0mm. Nut width: 41.7mm. It features a neck shape that is neither too thick nor too thin. [Electrical System] The controls feature a high-pass filter that retains treble when the volume is turned down, and current wiring that allows the use of a pickup mix position. The controls consist of a 3-way pickup selector (neck/mix/bridge), volume, and tone. While some resoldering of the wiring is visible, the control components, including the pickups, are original. The bright materials of the ash body and one-piece maple neck, combined with the compressed original pickups, allow you to fully enjoy a crisp, powerful tone in the bridge position and a sweet, clear tone in the neck position.
