The AT-222D 8I-II0 distortion pedal retains some of the original design elements, but lacks the 3-mode switch, resulting in a simpler distortion pedal. Furthermore, there are sligh t differences in sound. Compared to the AT-222D 8I-II0 distortion pedal, which possessed audiophile-level resolution, the KARMA has a more "guitar effect pedal-like" sound with a pleasantly moderate lo-fi quality. Of course, its basic performance is excellent, so the gain control range is wide, from a light crunch to a high-gain sound that's good enough for lead playing. However, it doesn't distort or compress the core of the sound; instead, it features a natural sound similar to that produced by an amplifier. Furthermore, the wide range of tone adjustment allows you to range from a rough, gritty distortion to a rounded, mild sound. Despite the simple gain, tone, and volume controls, it can create sounds suitable for various genres, not just hard rock and heavy metal. It delivers outstanding sound not only as a distortion pedal but also when used as an overdrive booster. Of course, like the conventional AT-222 series, it employs a true bypass system, so the original sound is not compromised when the effect is off, and low noise is also a key feature.Condition: No problems with use.
