Roasted maple is a type of maple wood that has been heat-treated at high temperatures to evaporate moisture and oils, thereby incr easing its rigidity. When used in a neck, this effect extends not only to stability but also to the sound, producing a rich, resonant tone and a mellow, vintage-like tone that has aged over time. This guitar features an ash body with a see-through finish that highlights the wood grain, allowing for a wide range of tones that cover many genres. Like the higher-end models, it is equipped with a turbo switch, which allows you to connect the two single-coil pickups in series. This produces a pseudo-humbucking sound. In this mode, the Front Vol knob is active, and the Rear Vol knob is bypassed.
