The DD-3 Digital Delay, a classic digital delay pedal that debuted in 1986 and became a super long-selling product for approximately 30 years, is featured here as an early model, l ikely manufactured around 1987. Although the casing shows some scratches and paint damage, it is in remarkably good condition considering its age. The rubber (pedal guide bushing) around the screw part of the footswitch has deteriorated and broken. This is one of the earliest units, using almost the same circuitry as its predecessor, the DD-2. Despite being digital, its slightly lo-fi, pleasantly cheap sound is appreciated as a tone that isn't "cheesy," and it remains a beloved piece of equipment for many players today.
