Carefully selected consigned items (sales on your behalf) Since its founding in 1947, Tokai has manufactured a wide range of musical instruments, including pianos, guitars, and ban jos. Its flagship models include the highly acclaimed LP-style LS series and the metal-bodied TALBO series, making it a beloved, long-established manufacturer among many players, both professional and amateur, both domestically and internationally. This is the "SS-36," an entry-level model from the Silver Star series of ST copy models, a modern ST model strongly geared towards the rock scene. 【body】 The guitar weighs approximately 3.5kg. The body is made of sen wood, and the color is listed as "Yellow Sunburst" in the catalog. The clear color and black hardware give it a sharp look. There are some scratches, dents, and tarnishing on the metal parts, but the paintwork is glossy and it can be said to be in relatively good condition considering its age. The back plate is missing, and one of the tremolo springs is an aftermarket part. 【neck】 The neck and fretboard are made of one piece of maple. There is some minor damage to the back of the neck, but no major dents. The tuners are quite stiff and inconsistent, but they are still functional for tuning. The frets and nut show some wear, and there are some areas that sound a bit rough when picked hard, but there is no extreme buzzing or dead spots. The nut width is approximately 41.4mm. The neck has a smart U-shape profile that is easy to use. [Electrical System] The controls are a standard configuration: one volume, one tone, and a 5-way pickup selector switch. The selector switch has a slightly soft half-tone response, but unlike conventional 5-way switches, it features Tokai's "3-row, 5-position" design. It comes equipped with a set of original "SS-B" pickups. Despite being an entry-level model, it boasts a sharp and powerful tone.
