Great deals on used "Coffee Guitars" have arrived! The domestic brand "Headway" was started in 1977 in Nagano Prefecture with master builder Yasuo Momose. With the belief that "we create guitars that can be played for a lifetime," we have developed our own unique guitar-making techniques while learning from the traditional guitar-making methods of Europe and America, and have refined them over many years. Even now, more than 40 years later, we continue to hone our skills day and night to create even better guitars, and we are committed to improving our techniques with an insatiable desire for advancement. The back and sides of this guitar are made from "Coffee Tree," a wood native to the Midwestern United States. It has a rare wood quality that is both hard and lightweight, resulting in a bright, responsive tone. Originally, Native Americans cooked the beans from this coffee tree for food and beverages. European settlers, who had a coffee-drinking culture, observed this Native American custom and began roasting the beans and enjoying them as a coffee substitute, which is the origin of the name "Coffee Tree." Although it is a different species from the coffee tree that is the raw material for the coffee currently sold, the origin of this Coffee Tree, which is associated with the custom of drinking coffee, and its unique wood texture attracted attention, and musical instruments were developed using this wood. In terms of condition, there are small scratches and dents on the headstock and body, but the frets have plenty of life left, and there are no problems with playability. The perfect drink to enjoy during your coffee break!
