[Manufacturer's Clearance Sale] Warwick's flagship model, a bolt-on version of the Custom Shop Thumb Bass, is now in stock! And as part of the manufacturer's clearance sale, it's s ignificantly discounted from the regular price! The Thumb Bass (Through Neck Model) is Warwick's first product and most iconic model since they started as a custom bass manufacturer, and it remains highly popular to this day. The combination of a robust bubinga body and wenge neck, along with the uniquely positioned MEC pickups that provide a clear sound image, delivers a distinct line that won't get lost in an ensemble, thanks to its punchy bass and wide midrange. Even with the EQ set to flat, it has excellent balance, but in terms of sound shaping, boosting the lows slightly will give you a powerful rock tone, while rolling back the mids will produce a scooped, punchy slap bass sound. The EQ is very effective, allowing for a wide range of sound creation possibilities. Furthermore, it incorporates the company's unique features, such as an original preamp using a lithium battery, a wood back panel made of the same material as the body, and metal pickup covers that match the hardware color. Combined with its high playability due to its compact body, this model is packed with individuality that can only be found in this instrument.・Machineheads: Graph Tech Ratio Machine Heads with wooden pegs Nut: Just-A-Nut III Brass・Neck Wood: Wenge neck, 4 laminations・Fretboard: Wenge fingerboard (fretted), Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard (fretless)・Fluorescent Side Dot: Fluorescent Side Dots Fingerboard Radius: 26・Scale length: 34 / 864 mm (long scale) Width Nut: 45.0 mm / 1.8・Width 12th fret: 60, 8 mm / 2.4・Width 24th fret: 69, 11 mm / 2.7・Fret quantity material and size: 24 Jumbo Bronze (extra hard) frets (width: 2.9 mm / height: 1.3 mm)・Frets: IFT - Invisible Fretwork Technology・Body Shape: Curved Body Shape・Bodywood (Topwood / Backwood): Bubinga body・Pickups: Active MEC J/J pickups with brushed Metal Cover・Electronics: Active Warwick 2-way electronics with rechargeable Lithium Battery・Pot layout: Volume (P/P) / Balance / Treble & Bass stacked・Bridge system: 2-piece solid Brass Warwick Bridge・Strap system: Warwick security locks Construction: Bolt-On・Color Possibilities Righthand: Natural Oil Finish, Transparent Satin or High Polish Finish・Color Possibilities Lefthand: Natural Oil Finish, Transparent Satin or High Polish Finish・Hardware color: Black hardware・String label / gauges: Warwick EMP strings 045 - 135 (38301M)・included accessories: Warwick User Kit including hex key tools and Cleaning cloth (RB PROD 50990 B COMP)・Packing: Handmade Genuine Leather Bag by RockBag (RB 20205 BW)・Certificate: Individually issued certificate of authenticity・E-Compartment Cover: Matched wooden electronics compartment cover Gig bag included Show more
