Based on Fender's Pure Vintage pickup design, the Coastline™ '65 Jazzmaster® pickups feature Alnico 5 magnets, a vintage-style bobbin construction, and cross-wiring that replicates the original pickups of the time. With a slightly increased number of windings, the overwound design enhances tonal richness, focus, and punch, while maintaining the classic Jazzmaster® growl sound and distinctive texture, resulting in a deeper tone and richer harmonics.・Alnico 5 magnets add more focus and enhanced dynamics・Enamel-coated magnet wire for warmer tones with more midrange presence・Flush-mount polepieces create vintage-style string-to-string blending・Wax potted to resist feedback and protect internal wiring・Period-correct cloth wire and fiber bobbin construction・Installation hardware included Show more
