The highly popular "HF-TSUKIMIYOZAKURA" signature model of Yometoore's "Yome-chan," which was released in 2023, now has a long-awaited new color, "KWH-GRD (Kagura White Gradation)" ! The delicate pink-to-white color scheme, reminiscent of a combination of cherry blossoms and a shrine maiden's attire, creates a charming yet refined appearance that captivates viewers. The body color of this model follows that of a custom model co-made by Headway custom shop builders Yasui and Furihata, which was a surprise birthday present for Yome-chan from her partner Marco. The inlay is the origin of the "Tsukimi" (moon viewing) in the model name. It features a design using the moon and cherry blossoms, and the exquisite balance between the slender crescent moon and cherry blossoms is my wife's favorite point. This design is also incorporated into my wife's beloved "HF-YOZAKURA'21 DX F, S/STD," just like the "HF-KAGURA CUSTOM." For the fretboard, we selected Micarta, a black wood known for its excellent hardness. The inlay features a cherry blossom motif in mother-of-pearl, resulting in an elegant finish. Myrtle wood was selected for the body sides and back. Myrtle wood, which produces a light and lively sound, is a good match for Yome-chan's signature style of playing, which involves rhythmic fingerpicking and percussive sounds, and was chosen from among many other woods. The neck, which greatly affects playability, features a thin, easy-to-grip design that reflects my wife's commitment to "ease of playing." Matching the body color, it has a Kagura White gradient finish and a glossy finish for a luxurious look. A serial-numbered wooden plate made of cherry wood is attached to the inside of the soundhole. The scattered cherry blossom design and Yometore mark are proof of the Yometore signature. Furthermore, this model comes with a newly designed pick featuring the Yometore logo and an original cleaning cloth, both matching the model's color! In September of the following year, they reached 100,000 subscribers and officially changed their channel name to Yometore. As of September 2024, their channel has surpassed 400,000 subscribers. This husband-and-wife guitar duo is definitely one to watch.
