Among Old Blood Noise Endeavors' lineup, Dark Star stands out as a bestseller with its unique and unparalleled character. Vast landscapes, aliasing, and incredibly long trails, alo ng with its solitary and dark sound when the mix is turned up to full, have continued to mesmerize listeners. Dark Star, significantly improved in V3, redefines ambient reverb. Beyond its three traditional modes, it offers a completely new way to explore reverb. Stereo in/out with special diffusion options. Preset settings. Full EXP and MIDI support. While retaining the unique vibe that makes Dark Star special—like a lonely cry echoing at the edge of the universe—it's been enhanced in every way. Now, it's up to you to decide how "dark" it is. Controlling emotions. Setting the mood. Something that resonates at a deeper level than what you are creating right now. That is Dark Star. V3 also offers a significant improvement in real-time performance. The AUX switch allows you to select a mode from Hold, Pitch, and Filter, adding real-time effects to your performance. You can infinitely extend reverb to lock into the background, or generate pitch shifts and filter sweeps. The stereo output features a special diffusion option. You can pan Pitch 1 and 2 all the way to the left and right to freely adjust the panning. It also features the long-awaited preset function. Furthermore, all options and parameters can be controlled via EXP or MIDI.- Low-pass/high-pass filters that shape reverberation. - Two pitches can be applied, controlled by Pitch1 and Pitch2, ranging from -2 to +2 octaves. - Overdrive that adds analog-like harmonics, or Crush that causes sample rate degradation. - Lag adds delay to the reverberation.
