The Steinberger XL-2, a legendary instrument. A good condition used item! This Steinberger guitar, a masterpiece that revolutionized guitar and bass design in the 1980s and continues to be highly regarded today, features a futuristic design that fundamentally overturns previous guitar and bass designs. It incorporates a square, compact body made from a single piece of synthetic material and a groundbreaking headless structure. In 1984, shortly after moving to the NEWBURGH factory, the popular "L2" model was refined and the "XL2" was born. The sound produced by the one-piece molded graphite composite body and neck is clear yet has a distinctive, solid core. Based on the serial number, this instrument was manufactured in 1988, and considering it's about 40 years old, it's in remarkably good condition. The strap pin on the horn side has been modified to accommodate a Schaller strap, which is a good modification considering its practicality. There is no truss rod, but the neck is currently in good condition with only a slight forward bow, and there are no particular issues with fret buzz. Don't miss out on these great used items!!
