A round tanzanite the color of a New Orleans dusk — that shifting violet-blue that only comes from the foothills of Kilimanjaro — set in a milgrain bezel between pavé diamond shoulders. Delicate, romantic, and built to draw second glances. The 6mm round tanzanite (0.66ct) sits in a beaded bezel that mirrors the milgrain detail running along the band's edges. Both shoulders are paved with 84 small round-cut diamonds (0.82ct total) that catch the violet at every angle. Set in 14K white gold with vintage-style finishing — the milgrain edging is hand-detailed work, the kind that turns a slim band into something heirloom. Currently a size 7.5 — easily resized by your jeweler. A natural choice for engagements, anniversaries, or as the daily-wear ring you slip on without thinking. Tanzanite's color shifts subtly through blue and violet depending on the light — keep an eye on it across the day. FAQs: What is tanzanite? Tanzanite is a rare violet-blue gemstone found in only one place on earth — the Mererani Hills of Tanzania, near Mount Kilimanjaro. Discovered in 1967 and brought to fame by Tiffany & Co., it shifts subtly between blue and violet depending on the angle and light. How do I care for tanzanite? Tanzanite measures 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale (softer than diamond) — clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft cloth, avoid ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals, and store in a separate pouch to prevent scratches from harder stones. Can it be resized? Yes — the white-gold band resizes within 1–2 sizes. Contact us at 504-908-0011 if you need assistance.
