A marquise sapphire raised in 6-prong solitaire splendor — flanked by stepped baguette diamonds that climb into the shoulders like architecture. Pure vintage-engagement-ring DNA in 18K white gold. The 1.7ct marquise sapphire (12 × 6.5mm, deep blue) sits high in a basket setting, framed by 8 princess-cut and 4 baguette-cut diamonds (0.58ct total) that flow into the band. Solid 18K white gold — heavier than 14K, brighter, with the cool tone that makes blue stones really sing. Currently a size 7.25 — easily resized by your jeweler. A natural choice for engagements, anniversaries, or a serious statement piece. The marquise cut elongates the finger; the baguette flanks add quiet Art Deco drama. FAQs: Is the sapphire treated? Most blue sapphires on the market are heat-treated to enhance color — this is a routine and stable industry practice. We don't have certification confirming or denying treatment for this specific stone. What's the difference between 18K and 14K white gold? 18K is 75% pure gold (vs 58% in 14K), which makes it brighter, slightly softer, and more valuable per gram. The cool white tone shows blue stones at their best. Can it be resized? Yes — 18K white gold resizes well within 1–2 sizes. Contact us at 504-908-0011 if you need help. Show more
