The trillion shape gives the stone presence beyond its carat weight, and the color is the deep violet-blue tanzanite is prized for. How do I care for tanzanite? Tanzanite measures 6.5–7 on the Mohs scale (softer than diamond) — clean gently with warm soapy water, avoid ultrasonic cleaners and harsh chemicals, and store in a separate pouch from harder gemstones.
