A pair of distinctive vintage hoop earrings with figural ram-head detail at the base of each hoop where the loop meets the post. Solid 14K yellow gold throughout, with the kind of sculptural craftsmanship that distinguishes vintage figural pieces from modern production hoops. The ram heads are cast in three-dimensional relief - you can pick out the curling horns, the muzzle, and the fur detail when held in good light. The hoops themselves are tapered (thicker at the bottom near the rams, slimmer at the top) and finished with a high-polish 14K yellow gold throughout, 2.2g for the pair - light enough for daily wear despite the figural detail. Hinged-post fittings with snap closures - secure for daily wear, easy on/off. A signature daily-wear piece for someone drawn to vintage figural jewelry.
