Access Panel for Cabinet VisionServiceable access openings, hinged or screw-on, designed in and machined on the CNC. Plumbing, electrical and appliance services behind joinery still need to be reached after installation. Access Panel builds the opening and a matching removable or hinged panel into the cabinet at the design stage, so it comes off the CNC ready to install. There's no cutting on site, and the finish is the same on every job. Three panel styles Hinged – full width. The part is split into front and back rails, and a full-width hinged panel sits between them, edged and square. On tops, decks and bottoms the rail widths set the panel size. On backs you set the panel height and its distance from the bottom, and the program builds its own rails with their own connections. Hinged – cutout. A routed opening with an even gap all round and a matching hinged panel, with square or radius corners. On the ends and back you choose the hinge edge: top, bottom or side. Screw-on panel. A stepped-lip opening with a matching rebated panel. It's screwed through pre-drilled line bores, and the screws are placed on the lip whatever the corner radius. Where it works Tops, decks, bottoms, backs and ends (TO, DE, BO, UB, LU, RU). Only the parts that exist in the selected cabinet are offered. Works with either part orientation, so it handles differences in how cabinets are built. Hardware and machining Hinges and mounting plates come from your cabinet's hardware schedule. They're positioned from the hinge's own catalogue values: boring distance, plate offset, inset and minimum distance from the panel end. Optional handle, positioned from the pull's own offset, with fine X and Y adjustment. Optional Lamello P14 connectors on the panel's closing edge. The router tool is chosen from a list you set up once in the UCS. Radius corners are limited to a minimum that suits the cutter. Only the edges that need edging get banded, and the rails get their connections automatically. New parts take the material and grain direction of the part they're cut from. Easy to use Everything is set from cabinet attributes, and the lists only show options that suit the part and style you've chosen. Panels are centred, or set by frames or rails, by default. Tick Move to shift a panel from there with Move X and Move Y. Parts are rebuilt cleanly every time the cabinet changes. Typical uses Service access behind sinks, dishwashers, fridges and ovens Plumbing and electrical access in vanities and base cabinets Void and ceiling access through tops and bulkhead cabinets Maintenance access in tall and wall cabinets Compatibility: Cabinet Vision 25.2 and later. Give your installers proper access to the services behind the cabinetry, built into the design and machined like every other part.
