RECOMMENDED SHIPPING AND DELIVERY INFO: We ship our Anthurium straight from our farms. They arrive fully bloomed, but do need some special care to ensure maximum vase life. If cared for properly, Anthurium can last 2 weeks or more, so you can schedule their delivery date several days to a week prior to the date you need them. But we strongly suggest scheduling a delivery date at least 3-4 days before your event. For more information, see Flower Details. Please note: It takes 7 days for your flowers to reach your doorstep from our farms. Therefore, you must order your flowers at least 7 days before you want your flowers to arrive, aka your delivery date, to allow for proper processing and shipping time. They look like high-maintenance exotic divas, but they are actually incredibly resilient and forgiving. Just don’t touch the spadex (the long, tubular-shaped stem in front of the leaf). Handling the spadix (which is actually the flower) will cause it to turn brown. Also, they benefit from having the leaf and spadix hydrated underwater when they first arrive. Check out the care instructions on how to process your Anthuriums properly. Please note: The spadix can range in color from white and yellow to green or pink. Blossom Blues: Limited. Anthurium has become an incredibly popular and highly sought-after flower. Unfortunately, the demand for this unique flower is often greater than its availability. Certain colors and sizes may be more limited than others. Order your Athurium flowers as early as possible to ensure the greatest chance of success. As always, Mother Nature has the final say as to the number of stems available at any given time. The good news is, the number of stems you order should all be usable, assuming they are cared for properly. Please Note: The spadix, the "nose" or "tail" of the anthurium, can range in color from white and yellow to green or pink. The Stem Scoop: Built to Last: Anthuriums are one of the longest-lasting cut flowers, often staying beautiful for 2–3 weeks with proper care. Tropical by Nature: Anthuriums thrive in warm environments. Keep them away from cold drafts and temperatures below 55°F. A Little Shine Goes a Long Way: Gently wipe the blooms with a soft, damp cloth to remove dust and restore their signature glossy finish. Perfect for Modern Designs: Their sculptural shape makes them a favorite for contemporary, tropical, and minimalist floral arrangements. Naturally Photogenic: With their vibrant color and glossy finish, Red Anthuriums photograph beautifully and instantly become the focal point of any bouquet or centerpiece. Recommended Hydration Bucket: We recommend the FNISS trash can from IKEA, or something similar in size, for anthurium. Number of Stems/Bunches per Bucket: We recommend NOT overcrowding any of your stems. The number of stems will depend upon the size of the flowers you are purchasing. For small to medium-sized flowers, we suggest 20-30 stems maximum, but always leave air around your flowers and room for them to breathe. Also, try to keep the spadices from being crushed between stems. Fragrance: None Symbolism: Hospitality and Abundance, Love and Romance, Good Luck and Prosperity, Enduring Friendship. Size Range: Small - 3-4" acrossMedium - 4-5" acrossLarge - 5-6" across PRO TIPS: Anthuriums are tropical flowers. DO NOT REFRIGERATE. Keep them at room temperature. This is completely normal — think of it like how you’d feel after a long international flight, wedged into the middle seat the whole way: a little rumpled and definitely not at your freshest. Your flowers feel the same way. A fresh trim on the stems, a good drink of water, and some time to hydrate (flower relaxation time) will help them perk up quickly. Please note that flower colors may vary slightly due to natural growing conditions and differences in screen display settings. We always strive to ship the exact product you order. However, occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control - weather conditions, market fluctuations, or an increase in weekly demand - substitutions may be necessary. We will contact you, if possible, as soon as we are made aware of this to discuss available options or substitutions. RECOMMENDED SUBSTITUTIONS: Sometimes flowers have a mind of their own — seasons shift, blooms vary, and Mother Nature likes to keep things interesting. These flowers share a similar look, feel, or design style and make beautiful alternatives. Red Aglaonema, Heartleaf Philodendron, Peace Lily COMPLEMENTARY PAIRINGS: Think of these as the floral version of great dinner guests — they naturally get along and bring out the best in each other. Orchids, Calla Lilies, Monstera Foliage, Amaranthus, Hydrangeas, Roses, Protea, Bells of Ireland, and any lush tropical greenery
