AWAKENING is pure energy. Two fields of red, one bright and close to orange, the other deeper and richer, frame a central band of yellow broken by flashes of turquoise, like light breaking through at the start of the day. Orange brings positivity, red brings strength and confidence, and together they create a play of shades that always feels alive. Applied with a palette knife, the paint has a slightly rough, tactile quality, layered until the colours match the feeling behind the work. Its compact square format brings warmth to an entrance, a hallway or a small wall.
