AWARENESS is about the moment we stop and truly notice what is around us. A clear sky, touched with soft white light, rests over a line of deep indigo hills, while a vivid green fi eld fills the foreground with energy. A thin band of pale light, almost like morning mist, separates the hills from the field and draws the eye into the distance. Built in layers with a palette knife, the textured surface keeps the colours fresh and alive. Its square format brings a breath of open air to a kitchen, a study or a bedroom.
