A workshop perfect for absolute beginners, those who have tried to crochet, but struggled to get started, or even those who have done a little crochet but want to gain confidence in the basic stitches. This class will teach the basic crochet stitches and techniques, making swatches of each, working straight and in the round to practise and build confidence in the skills. We will cover double, half-treble, and treble crochet stitches, working a basic granny square in the round, basic pattern reading, pattern abbreviations, and terminology. Materials info: We will supply the materials for you in this class which you will be able to keep. If you'd like to bring your own hooks (4mm - 5.5mm for DK or Aran weight yarn) or any other materials you might want to use that's fine. It may also be helpful to bring a pen to make your own notations on the given worksheets or in a small notebook as often these notes are really helpful as an aide memoire after the class has finished. Taught by Evie Eden *Price includes materials. Classes are held in the shop. Maximum of 6 students per class. 100% deposit is required at registration. Cancellation policy A refund of payment for a class will be given for cancellations only if the spot can be filled by another student, minus a 10% admin fee. Please be considerate. We reserve the right to cancel a class in unusual circumstances. We try to avoid this wherever possible, but sometimes it cannot be avoided. In this situation, of course, a full refund will be given. We're sorry, but Loop cannot be financially responsible for extreme weather conditions or any other situations that are out of its' control. If we need to cancel the class due to any unforeseen circumstances, we will of course offer you a full refund or shop credit (whatever your preference is).
