Handcrafted Quality: Rattan reed handwoven over a wood bottom, with a wrapped hardwood rim and a leather loop handle riveted through the weave at each end, by an Old Order Amish family on the Iowa-Missouri border, and signed by the weaver who made it. The Six-Roll Size: 10 1/2 x 7 inches at the rim and 3 1/2 inches tall: six dinner rolls, the biscuits, a pan of cornbread cut in squares, or the chips at a party, carried to the table by the handles. Low On Purpose: The sides are low so a hand reaches the last roll without tipping the basket, and it sits between the plates without crowding them. Measures: 10 1/2" x 7" x 3 1/2" tall. Contents not included. Three Trim Colors: Choose Plain, Wine & Blue, or Wine & Green. The color is woven in as dyed reed, not painted on, and on the plain finish the stain takes to each piece of wood in its own way. Optional Extras: A hand-sewn cotton liner made for this basket, protective feet and an engraved solid brass plate are each optional and sold right on this page. The basket ships open and unlined and is complete without them. American Heritage: Handwoven in the USA and signed by the Amish weaver who made it. Backed by our lifetime guarantee, with free shipping and no-questions returns on every order. "The dinner roll/ bread basket is beautiful. I knew it would be quality work, but I had no idea how great it would be." Connie wrote in 2025. Heidi loves "the weight & feel of it"; Aimee's "will definitely be on our table for years to come." Maureen found "the liner just makes it even better." It is sewn for this basket, washes by machine, and can be added any time after the basket arrives from this page. Off the table, June keeps hers in the kitchen "to put my notes and in coming bills to be paid." The sizes are the outside of the rim. For a sliced loaf, the Bread Serving Basket at 13 x 7 is the longer one with the same handles; for rolls that stay warm through the meal, the bread warming baskets page adds a microwave pad. The rest of the family is on the bread baskets page. An Old Order Amish family weaves it by hand on the Iowa-Missouri border, in the same community as the rest of our kitchen baskets, and the weaver signs the bottom before it leaves the farm. Standard shipping is free, and rush delivery is offered at checkout when a birthday or Christmas is close. It ships gift-ready, with no prices in the box, a free gift note at checkout, and a short letter about the family who wove it. Like every basket we sell, it carries our lifetime guarantee, and returns are no questions asked. Measures: 10 1/2" x 7" x 3 1/2" tall
