Are you looking for the ultimate in sonic definition, power, and flexibility? With the Brother Ron Studio, you hear more low end while retaining a sparkling high end. This is becau se compared to a regular pickup that has an obvious bump somewhere in the midrange followed by a dramatic cut off, the Studio has an overall pretty even response. In other words, it doesn't impart its voice into your bass, rather, it brings out what you put into it. Plus, the wide magnetic field makes for a more complex dynamic structure for each coil to capture. These pickups will truly bring out the best in both your bass and your playing style. With the Brother Ron, there is a single for each string. This arrangement enhances string to string definition while eliminating hum. Plus, its equally at home with an active preamp as it is running passively.
