Bacteria, lubricant residue, and body fluids can degrade toy materials over time and increase infection risk if left uncleaned. Basic routine: Spray the toy surface, wait 30 seconds, wipe with a clean cloth or tissue, then rinse with warm water if the toy is waterproof. Allow to air dry fully before storing. For electronic toys, avoid submerging unless rated IPX7 or higher. Spray only on accessible surfaces and wipe carefully around buttons and charging ports. When to Use a Dedicated Toy Cleaner After every use — especially shared toys Before first use on a new toy When mild soap and water isn't available For quick cleaning between uses during a session Discreet Shipping Ships in plain, unmarked outer packaging. No adult product descriptions on box or packing slip. Frequently Asked Questions Is mild soap enough, or do I need a dedicated toy cleaner? Mild unscented soap and warm water is generally sufficient for non-porous materials like silicone, glass, and stainless steel. A dedicated toy cleaner spray is especially useful for travel, quick cleanup, or toys with crevices that are hard to rinse thoroughly. Can I use this spray on all toy materials? This spray is compatible with silicone, ABS plastic, glass, and stainless steel toys. Avoid using on porous materials like rubber, latex, or jelly toys — those materials are difficult to clean thoroughly and we generally recommend replacing them. Do I need to rinse after spraying? Yes, rinsing with warm water after spraying is recommended for body-contact surfaces. Wipe dry and allow to air out before storing. Is this cleaner safe for vibrators with charging ports? Spray on a cloth or tissue first, then wipe the toy — avoid direct spraying near charging ports or buttons to prevent moisture damage. Beginner's Guide to Toy Cleaning Cleaning your adult products after every use is essential for hygiene and to extend product lifespan. Here is how to do it correctly: Clean immediately after use — the sooner you clean, the easier it is; dried residue is harder to remove and creates a surface for bacteria Spray, wait 30 seconds, wipe — apply the cleansing spray to all surfaces, let it sit for 30 seconds, then wipe away with a clean cloth or paper towel No rinsing required — this spray formula is residue-free after wiping; no need to rinse with water (which can damage electronic components in vibrators) Safe for all non-porous materials — silicone, ABS plastic, glass, metal, and PVC toys can all be cleaned with this spray Do not use on porous materials — TPE, TPR, jelly rubber, and real-feel materials are porous and cannot be fully sanitized; treat these as single-user items Store toys in a dry pouch after cleaning — never store toys touching each other; silicone can react with other silicone surfaces over time For a detailed guide on toy hygiene, see: Beginner's Guide to Adult Products in Canada.
