CALMNESS is a landscape at the end of the day. A deep ultramarine sky settles over a soft ribbon of pale yellow, like the last light along the crest of a hill, while a wide field o f vivid green fills most of the canvas. Green, the most restful of colours, sets the mood here, layered with a palette knife into fresh, luminous tones that help the mind unwind. Its square format looks wonderful above a fireplace or a sideboard, or anywhere you want a gentle touch of nature.
