Two family favourites, folded into one box — and the join is cleverer than it sounds.Carcassonne Labyrinth takes the shifting-maze mechanic that has kept Labyrinth on shelves for f orty years and marries it to the tile-laying and territory-building of Carcassonne. On your turn you push a tile into the grid, sliding the whole maze along and rewriting everyone's route in the process. Then you build. The tension sits in that double duty: the shove that opens your own path is usually the same shove that hands your opponent theirs. Move cleverly, build well, and the game is yours.Plays 1-4, takes around half an hour, and lands squarely in family-game territory — easy to teach, but with enough spatial mischief to keep adults interested.
