Chemistry 101 Chemistry 101 approaches chemistry through a clear Biblical worldview. Concepts are introduced step by step so students understand chemistry rather than simply memori zing formulas. Typically counted as one full high school credit, this download-only course lets students begin immediately—no waiting for materials to arrive. The course is organized into four sections—The Road to the Periodic Table, Chemistry Essentials, Meet the Elements, and The Future of Chemistry—so concepts build in a logical sequence rather than feel like disconnected pieces. Across 19 lessons and more than eleven hours of video instruction, students learn how to read the periodic table, balance chemical equations, understand how elements behave, and see how chemistry concepts connect. Historical context is woven throughout the course, helping students understand how scientific ideas developed rather than simply presenting finished answers and expecting memorization. Strong visuals, animations, and real-world examples keep the material clear without requiring students to work through pages of unfamiliar chemistry vocabulary before understanding the concept itself. The included digital guidebook provides structure through quizzes, discussion questions, course outlines, and accreditation materials for documenting a full high school credit. Because the course relies heavily on visual explanations and guided instruction, it often works especially well for students who understand concepts more quickly when they can see chemistry in action rather than simply read about it. Chemistry 101 works well as either a complete chemistry credit or as a foundation before moving into more advanced science courses—especially for students who need chemistry explained clearly before they are ready to tackle a heavier textbook.
