CHILL-X™ Intercooler Performance Without the Size, Lag or Pressure Drop CHILL-X helps a 600×300×75 intercooler perform like a 600×300×110 — without extra lag, pressure drop, or packaging headaches. If you’ve ever wanted bigger intercooler performance but didn’t have the space, airflow, or tolerance for added lag, this is the solution. What CHILL-X Does: CHILL-X is a bolt-on, active water jacketed cooling system for turbocharged engines that scrubs heat out of the charge air at the turbo compressor, before it reaches the intercooler or engine. That means: Lower intake air temps Faster recovery between pulls More consistent power No change to turbo response All without upsizing your intercooler. Why It Works (Without the Engineering Lecture) Traditional intercoolers rely on ambient airflow alone.CHILL-X adds active thermal control exactly where heat is concentrated — the compressor wheel and the discharge. Result: Faster heat removal Reduced heat soak More stable power run after run It’s the missing link between the turbo and the intercooler. Real-World Benefits ✔ Mimics a significantly larger intercooler✔ Zero added lag✔ No pressure drop penalty✔ Faster IAT recovery✔ Works on street, track & drag✔ Ideal for tight engine bays If you’re pushing high boost and fighting heat, this works. Modular Cooling — Your Way CHILL-X is designed as a platform, not a one-off gimmick. Compatible with: Water-to-air cooling (street & track) Low-pressure A/C assist (daily performance builds) Full A/C integration (maximum cooling) CO₂ cooling (drag racing & short-burst applications) Run it mild or go extreme — the system scales with your goals. Built by Real R&D, Not Guesswork CHILL-X wasn’t rushed. It’s the result of: Extensive testing Thermal analysis Real dyno validation Multiple design iterations This is engineered to work — not just look good on Instagram. Who CHILL-X Is For Turbo street cars Track & time-attack builds Drag cars chasing consistency Performance diesels Builders who want results, not hype Ski boats If heat is limiting your setup, CHILL-X is here to help. Key Features • CNC-machined billet construction• Integrated water jacket• Designed for high boost environments• Clean, serviceable, race-ready - Chill-X is designed to be seam welded to your compressor cover, to make a fluid/gas tight seal around the whole compressor cover, creating a pocket to be used as a water jacket to cool the compressor while your making heat from boost. Think of Chill-X somewhat like a water to air cooling device, and is plumbed as a stand alone unit much like a water to air intercooler. This does not replace an intercooler, in is used in conjunction with an intercooler (air to air, or water to air) Why Buy Now Heat kills power.Inconsistent temps kill repeatability.Bigger intercoolers aren’t always the best answer. CHILL-X lets you keep your current setup — and make it perform like it shouldn’t be able to. Options: • Garrett & Pulsar G30 & G35 compatible• Turbosmart 6262 & 6466 compatible DIY Cooling Kit Includes:– 12V electric pump– Header / reservoir tank– Hose & clamps– Fluid cooler– 12V cooling fan Dyno Data Overview: The dyno graph below shows real-world test parameters and outcomes. Focus on the two red traces in the lower half of the chart, which represent compressor discharge temperature measured between the turbocharger and the intercooler. The thicker red line (with cursor on it) shows temperatures with CHILL-X active, while the thinner red line shows the system inactive. At 18 psi boost on a G30-770, tested from 2000 rpm through to 6000 rpm and back to idle, CHILL-X delivers consistently lower average discharge temperatures and, just as importantly, significantly faster temperature recovery after the pull. This improved thermal control directly supports more stable power delivery and reduced heat soak under repeated load. Upgrade Your Cooling, Stabilize Your Power, Stop Compromising.
