Spicy-sweet with notes of honey and orange peel, this Cinnamon Extract is an infusion of our bestselling Royal Cinnamon in a deliciously warming rye whiskey base. Use it just like vanilla extract in cakes, cookies and brownies, and squeeze a few drops on anything that would benefit from a spicy-sweet boost. Vanilla ice cream, hot chocolate and coffee are some of our favorite approaches. Our longtime partners at Bittercube steep a full pound of ground Royal Cinnamon for each gallon of rye whiskey and neutral spirit. The resulting extract is smooth and intense, with no grainy cinnamon particles for easy integration into cocktails, puddings and oatmeal. Robust rye harmonizes perfectly with the cinnamon for an extract that’s greater than the sum of its parts. We wanted to make our rare heirloom Vietnamese cinnamon as versatile to use as possible. If you need clear, evenly dispersed cinnamon flavor in candies, drinks or frozen treats, this extract is for you! It contains zero stabilizers, concentrates or preservatives. Just the best cinnamon in a pure, stirrable form.
