Kaleidoscope finds Coldplay at the height of their collaborative powers, exploring fresh sonic territory while staying true to their melodic roots. Produced by Rik Simpson with Dan iel Green and Bill Rahko, this 2017 EP features standout moments like the live Tokyo version of “Something Just Like This” with The Chainsmokers and “Miracles (Someone Special),” a dynamic track with Big Sean that bridges genres. With contributions from celebrated artists such as Brian Eno on the boundary-pushing “A L I E N S,” Kaleidoscope effortlessly weaves modern pop, rock, and alternative influences into a cohesive, uplifting collection. Fans of Coldplay’s expansive sound and vibrant experimentation will find these tracks to be a unique extension of the band’s celebrated A Head Full of Dreams era.
