Whether you're a new player or a veteran introducing a friend, this set has everything two players need to get started in both styles of Conquest gameplay: The Last Argument of Kings (rank-and-flank warfare) and First Blood (skirmish battles). The Yoroni, a brand new elite faction, offer a unique playstyle with powerful Brute-based regiments and flexible card activation. Their warband includes Daimyo, a commanding presence who leads the Oni Ayakashi, Tengo Bushi, and Kami Akumi into battle. Modular Regiment building and the strategic Ideal system make them perfect for beginners and tacticians alike. Opposing them, the W’adrhŭn bring raw primal energy and thunderous beasts to the battlefield. Their force includes the soaring Quatl, a terrifying flying beast, supported by a character-led Hunting Pack and nimble Raptor Riders. Beautifully detailed sculpts, complete with accurate feathered dinosaurs, make them a favorite among collectors and players. This box offers proposed scenarios and guided experiences to ease you into the Conquest system, all while saving you over £220 in total value, not including the additional bonus tools and guides. How the Yoroni Play: Yoroni are elite, hard-hitting brawlers with a unique Ideal Card mechanic. Any Ideal can activate any unit—but matching a Regiment to its Type unlocks extra effects. This creates deep tactical options through sequencing, making timing and order of activation critical. They also introduce Modular Regiments, allowing you to build custom unit compositions for creative list building and adaptability. How the W’adrhŭn Play: Fast, aggressive, and thematic, W’adrhŭn excel at combining brute force and mobility. Their dinosaur-themed aesthetic pairs with tactically rich combos and character-driven command chains, making them a fan favorite for those who love speed, impact, and primal power.
