An organic and biodynamic Macabeu that was wild-fermented before being allowed to go through malolactic conversion in tank. The wine was then matured for 12 months in old oak barre ls and bottled unfined and unfiltered with minimal sulfur: the South of France in a bottle. Domaine Danjou-Banessy is run by brothers Benoit and Sebastien, who inherited the ancient vines found under the domaines holdings and who are on a mission to put their hometown of Espira de l'Agly on the wine world's map. Each of their bottlings represents "a plot, a soil, a locality, an atmosphere, a way of working, a certain atmosphere and also a part" of the family. 11.5% ABV Show more
