Here, hold this shovel for me a moment, won’t you? And this lantern. It’s nearly empty, but that’s alright—we don’t have far to go. Just a little wander through the dark woods into the heart of what it means to be human and alive. To be afraid and brave. To know the monsters and know thyself and wonder if they’re one and the same… Old Gods of Appalachia characters are rich and complex, and their ties to their world and each other are every bit as important as their skills and stats. Dig Your Own Grave helps you easily build and advance characters you will love and never forget. A unique “choose-your-own-background” system helps you forge a backstory and motivations that will tie your character deeply to the setting. New systems for connections and bonds to NPCs and other PCs further enrich your party and your game. Plus, get new foci, descriptors, and other character options. Show more
