Description for DOUBLECROSS by Mary Maxwell: YOU KNOW HOW MEN ARE WHEN THEY'RE SICK! No stone-faced secret agent--no matter how sexy and blue-eyed--would make Alexis Wright late for the children's party she had to host! How dare Travis Cross jump into her car and demand she drive him somewhere? She hoped the moody man liked to play Pin the Tail on the Donkey, because the only place she was driving was home.... Secret agents were supposed to catch killers--not chicken pox from little kids at parties! Travis thought he'd never rest until he found his partner's murderer, but resting was all he could do while recuperating in a soft, frilly bed in Alexis's house, being spoon-fed chicken soup by a sexy, suburban woman who would never forgive him when she knew the truth.... This is Silhouette Desire #735, September 1992
