Modern Spey Action in a Compact Length With trends in modern spey lines getting increasingly compact, it was time the rods were designed with these new lines in mind. By using our years of spey rod development experience along with the expertise of spey casting champion Mariusz Wrobewski, we produced our most advanced spey rods we have ever produced. Action and Length for Modern Compact Spey Lines Spey lines have evolved since they hit the mainstream, yet the rods have remained largely the same. So we started from scratch to find the ideal flex and length to most effectively fish today’s most popular types of compact two-hand lines. Our Lightest, Most Advanced Two Hand Series to Date As part of the greater family of new spey rods (Full Spey, Compact Spey, Trout Spey), these new rods are dialed for how today’s anglers fish their two hand rods. The Compact Spey comes in a standard 12′ length in 6wt, 7wt and 8wt perfect for modern compact spey lines. Show more
