Ecumaster USB to CAN Interface The Ecumaster USB to CAN is an essential diagnostic and configuration tool for any modern motorsport electronics ecosystem. Designed to provide a high-speed bridge between your PC and the vehicle's CAN BUS network, this interface is the primary gateway for setting up, tuning, and updating the Ecumaster PMU, ADU, and EMU PRO series. Unlike standard serial adapters, this unit supports both CAN 2.0A and CAN 2.0B standards, ensuring full compatibility with the latest automotive communication protocols. Built for the professional workshop and track-side environment, the device features a robust housing and integrated LED diagnostic indicators that provide real-time feedback on connection status and data traffic. With its unique switchable 120-ohm terminator, the Ecumaster USB to CAN eliminates the need for external resistors, making it easier than ever to tap into a CAN network for live tracing or firmware management. Technical Authority & Key Features Multi-Device Support: The "must-have" tool for configuring the PMU16, ADU5/7, EMU PRO, and CAN-based accessories like the GPS to CAN V2 and CAN Keypads. Switchable 120Ω Termination: An on-board physical switch allows you to enable or disable the CAN bus termination resistor instantly, providing maximum flexibility for different wiring topologies. Galvanic Isolation (Optional): Available in a standard or isolated version to prevent electrical noise and ground loops from damaging your PC during high-load testing. CAN Sniffer Functionality: When used with the Ecumaster Light Client software, the interface acts as a powerful CAN sniffer, allowing engineers to monitor and trace third-party CAN messages. Seamless Software Switching: Intelligent firmware allows the device to jump between EMU PRO Client, PMU Client, and ADU Client without manual resets or driver re-installation. Plug & Play Connectivity: Utilises a standard USB Type-B PC connection and a professional DB9 (D-Sub) CAN connector for industry-standard compatibility. No External Power Required: Draws its operating voltage directly from the USB port (5V), simplifying the setup for field tuning.
