Motorcycle exhaust pipes are fitted with silencers at the end to reduce the noise from the engine. The silencer attached at the end of the exhaust pipes causes the gases to expand so that any noise is expelled. The linings and perforations in the silencer also help lower the volume of the engine. It achieves this by channeling the exhaust flow through a series of internal baffles, perforated tubes, and sound-absorbing materials. These features work together to dampen the noise produced during combustion, helping to meet noise regulations and provide a quieter riding experience. Additionally, the exhaust silencer helps to optimize exhaust flow, contributing to the overall performance and efficiency of the engine by ensuring smooth expulsion of exhaust gases. Its design also often includes provisions for durability and resistance to high temperatures, making it an essential part of the motorcycle's exhaust system. Features Our Lextek Exhaust Paste is a high-quality sealant that will cope with temperatures up to 1100 degrees Celsius. The Lextek Exhaust Paste is ideal for sealing joints between two pipes, we do not recommend you use it as a replacement for a gasket (for example between the head and manifold). The Lextek Exhaust Paste will provide you with a leak-free seal ensuring your exhaust system performs exactly as it is designed to. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Avoid contact with Eyes, Mouth and Skin.
