I suffer from notoriously sensitive skin and can confidently share this is the best face bar I have used. K.H. Seems to be lasting a long time because it only takes a second to lather and removes all make-up, including waterproof mascara, within seconds. Laurie T. I really like this face-cleaning bar! The tingle from the mint is just right. It smells lovely. Teresa Why switch to a solid facial cleanser? Liquid face wash is mostly water in a plastic bottle. A solid cleansing bar gives you the cleansing oils and botanicals without the water weight or the packaging, so one bar replaces a bottle or two and creates no plastic waste. It also travels well, with nothing to spill and nothing to count as a liquid at security. The worry with bar cleansers is that they strip and dry the skin. Ours does not, because it is built on cocoa butter, jojoba, and aloe rather than harsh detergents. You get a real clean that rinses without residue, and skin that feels soft afterward instead of tight. See our full guide to choosing a zero waste facial cleanser, and how to pick the right bar for your skin. What goes into our bar. Organic Cocoa Butter Rich emollient that keeps the bar from stripping. Skin feels soft after cleansing, not tight. Organic Jojoba Oil Closest thing to skin's own sebum. Balances without clogging pores. Organic Aloe Vera Soothes and hydrates as it cleanses. Keeps skin calm after washing.
