Wonderful for gourmand or woody scents, Filbertone (AKA filbert heptenone) naturally contributes to the odour of hazelnuts and is also a minor component of the scent of chocolate. Due to its astonishing power, we are offering this at 1% diluted in dipropylene glycol (DPG) but we also offer it pure for those who have need of it. Often mistaken as a flavouring, this chemical is a hidden gem in perfumery, creating remarkable accords when properly diluted. At just 0.1%, it delivers fresh, fruity, green, and nutty nuances, effortlessly boosting citrus and floral blends. Pair it with Tropathiane, Oxane, or Passifloran, and you’ll discover vibrant, near-addictive shades that defy easy description. Even the smallest amounts can work magic. Filbertone blends beautifully with Sandexol®, Ambrexol™, Wild Cherry and Fleur de Cassie.
