Say what you will, people like a cup’o’joe. There are two explanations for the phrase “cup of joe” – the first is it was a Navy protest from a 1914 ban of alcohol on Navy ships so the strongest drink you could get on a Navy vessel was coffee. The order was invoked by the Secretary of the Navy, Josephus Daniels. The second theory is it is a hybrid between the words “java” and “mocha.” Believe what you want, the best part of waking up appears to be coffee in your cup! So while you are enjoying your morning brew, do so while listening to the creamy sounds of The Grinder iHorn. Show more
