Hemionitis arifoliaHemionitis arifolia grows as a compact clump from a short central rhizome. Its heart-shaped fronds grow low around the centre, while the spore-bearing fronds usu ally stand taller and develop a more arrow-shaped outline.Fine dark-brown to almost black stalks lift the leaves above the centre of the plant. Mature fronds may also form tiny plantlets near the base of the blade, and these can develop into new plants. Show more
