The IC Lights T2 is a table lamp from Flos designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2014, part of a collection rooted in the visual logic of a contact juggler: a sphere held in suspension, defying expectation through precision and poise. An angled frame in brass, chrome-plated steel, or black steel holds a blown opal glass diffuser at its tip, producing soft, diffused light. The geometry is spare, the tension deliberate. Nothing is decorative that is not also structural. Anastassiades, born in Cyprus and based in London, draws on a background in engineering and a long practice in object and spatial design. His work resists ornament in favor of proportion and material presence. The IC Lights series is among his most recognized contributions to contemporary lighting.
