The LOCHBY Field Journal is built as a flexible writing system rather than a single-purpose notebook. It pairs a rugged waxed canvas cover with refillable inserts, so you can use it as a planner, journal, sketchbook, or everyday notebook and adjust the setup as your needs change. It includes one dot grid refill made with 68 gsm white Tomoe River paper, a favorite among fountain pen users for its smooth feel and excellent ink performance. Additional refills are available in dot grid, ruled, plain, wide ruled, and planner formats, giving you room to build the layout that works best for you. The cover is made from 100% vegan waxed canvas with double stitching and bartacking for durability. An aircraft-grade aluminum hook closure keeps everything secure, while the stout elastic pen loop can hold anything from a pencil to a larger fountain pen. Inside, the journal can comfortably fit up to six refills, making it easy to separate notes, plans, sketches, and projects in one place. The Field Journal measures 6.75" × 9.75" × 1" and weighs 10.6 oz, giving it a substantial feel without making it difficult to carry. It is a practical choice for writers, planners, and anyone who wants a notebook system that can grow and change over time.
