The Loft Alpha Solid Hydrogen is a stable putter that flies dead straight, closer to a deep dish disc like a Rattler than a shallow spin putter. Loft built the Hydrogen to be the disc you throw when you need to know exactly where it is going, on the green and off the tee. Flight Numbers: 1 / 2 / 0 / 0 Alpha-Solid is Loft's more flexible base plastic, softer in the hand with less initial grip than the firmer Beta-Solid, and it holds up well over months of use without picking up much wear. It is a good choice for anyone who wants a putter that still looks close to new after a season of putting practice. Thrown flat this disc does not glide long and does not fade, it just goes where you release it and stops. That makes it excellent for standstill approach shots and short upshots where accuracy matters more than distance, and forgiving for spin putts inside the circle. New players get a lot out of this putter because it will not hide a bad release the way an understable disc might, and it teaches a clean, straight throw early. Anyone replacing a beat-in favorite that has gone flippy should give it a look. Want more grip and a faster beat-in? The Loft Beta Solid Hydrogen is the same mold in a firmer plastic. Need a disc for night rounds? The Loft Glow Hydrogen Y Solid covers that. Browse our stable putters. Speed 1, glide 2, turn 0, fade 0. Diameter 21.2 cm, rim width 0.7 cm, max weight 177 g.
