Description The M5Stack ATOM Thermal Printer Kit is a DIY 58mm thermal printer built around the Atom-Lite IoT core controller and a compact thermal printer mechanism. It supports characters, graphics, barcodes, 1D codes, and QR codes, making it useful for receipt, label, ticket, and IoT notification printing projects. The cardboard enclosure gives the kit a maker-style shell, while the built-in firmware supports AP connection printing and MQTT message push printing. Developers can also build custom printing applications through the ATOM IoT core, UART serial control, UIFlow, or Arduino. Note This kit does not come with a power adapter. Users need to prepare their own DC 12V power adapter with a 5.5mm connector. For optimal print quality, the adapter should provide 2.5A or higher, because the power supply capability directly affects print display quality. Features Atom-Lite controller: ESP32-PICO-D4 IoT controller with 4MB Flash. 58mm thermal printing: supports text, graphics, characters, barcodes, 1D codes, and QR codes. Maker-style enclosure: full cardboard shell design for compact desktop use. AP printing mode: connect to the printer hotspot and print through web control. MQTT push printing: print content pushed by MQTT, with the topic based on the device MAC address. UART control: serial command control through UART 9600bps 8N1. Development support: compatible with UIFlow and Arduino workflows.
